Our Story
Carpe Kanis began not in a kennel, but in the heart of our living room. Our journey started with a deep-seated passion for the unique character of French Bulldogs and a desire to see them raised with the dignity and individual care they deserve. Based in Alberta, we’ve dedicated our lives to creating a breeding program that feels more like a family than a business.
We believe that a puppy’s first weeks set the tone for their entire life. That’s why our dogs are part of our daily family rituals—from morning coffee to evening snuggles. This honest, hands-on approach ensures that when you bring home a Carpe Kanis puppy, you’re welcoming a well-adjusted, healthy companion who has been loved from their very first breath.

Our Dogs
Our family is incomplete without our dogs. We focus on a small selection of breeds including French Bulldogs, the unique Fluffy French Bulldogs, intelligent Floodles, and the noble Rottweilers and Cane Corsos. Each one is a cherished member of our household, living alongside us and receiving the individual care and love they deserve.
